The room lacked a mini-fridge, which could've been handy for cold drinks or leftovers. Additionally, the rocking chair in the room felt a bit uninviting without chair pads, making long sits a touch less comfortable.

Lizard Creek Inn delivered a fantastic stay. Stacey and Bill made us feel right at home. They reached out before our visit to check on dietary needs and how to access our room. Fresh cookies and a bottle of wine greeted us upon arrival. Breakfast was an absolute delight every morning, with dishes that were homemade and delicious. The charming decor of the inn was well-maintained and showcased its historic character. We particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, perfect for resting after exploring Jim Thorpe. One small inconvenience was the lack of a mini-fridge in our room to store leftovers. Still, this didn’t detract from the lovely experience we had overall. The serenity of the location and the friendly hosts truly made it memorable.

The stay was perfect for unwinding after daily adventures and exploring the nearby hiking spots. Each morning, breakfast offered a delightful spread with plenty of variety and homemade options that kept me excited to start the day. It was also a treat to have a lovely balcony in the room, ideal for sipping coffee and soaking in the views. Just a tiny note for improvement would be a wish for a mini-fridge to keep drinks cold!
